hi all,
yar nobody was writing in this blog so i thought to make a spam in it. A day before Dashehra i went mysure. It was very hectic trip. thanks to Brijraj( i am not blaming, i just want to say that i was alone) and company for NOT accompanying me, I went with my room mate' friends, I knew only room mate. so this went a boring trip. we paid a lot for travel. we couldn't visit mysure palace and chamundi hill due to huge rush at the time of dashehra. nobody had digital camera, so pics are not so gud, still i am sharing ->

Journey @ Hyderabad

It Begins:

This story is about the journey to Cyberville of Hyderabad, a place where the foundation stone of the corporate-life of 11 shoorveer of IT-BHU was planned to be written. Well to be precise, the story revolves around 8 of them who were finally settled at one place to some company known as Microsoft. Those were Cow pandey, Nandu, Tangri, Rish Janu, Ramu, Loru Bihari, Bhauchakka & Bhauji. Other three batchmates were Sharabi Abhay, Shames & Lapata Labhane.

Our honeymoon started on the fine Saturday morning with me to catch the flight from Delhi to Hyderabad at 0625 hrs. Honeymoon is the lingo for the lavish life that was ahead of us for the next 15 days. Having all the security etc checks done I was ready to board the plane on time and was in air at 0700 hrs. It was a nice journey of around 2 hours flying sometime above sometime below and sometime in the clouds. I was seated at the emergency exit seat of plane and I wonder only God knows why it is so that I always get an emergency exit seat in train and now even in plane. Anyways here I landed at Hyderabad airport; an Innova came to receive me which later dropped me at Taj Recidency.

The Hotel:

Well as always, I came first to the city and had to wait till evening for my other story mates to come. I entered hotel, a big hall was in front of me having 7 horses picture (as mural?)… With big interior and a tidy place the place was looking worth to live :P. A soft spoken 20-21 years old girl came, greeted and assisted me to the office where I confirmed my booking of a room. First floor, 27th room was booked for me and the same girl showed me the way to room. On the way to room she asked many questions as where am I from, what am I goanna do here at Hyderabad etc. Having faced such a response I also started asking the same questions and many more and meanwhile the room was there. I wished I would be given the last room on the topmost floor :).

Here was the room having a big glass window, almost of the size of 60% of the wall, to give the look of the outside world; a TV; a well-equipped washroom and an Elmira with the guide to use the facilities of the hotel and a map to emergency exit in case of fire which as a responsible citizen I never bothered to have a look at :D. One thing that you may dislike at Taj if you are the kind of person as me is the greeting of their staff whenever you face them. “Good Morning Sir, how are you?” is the sentence that I was used to hear at least 100 odd times a day. Well after taking the shower I ordered for lunch and rested and waited for others to come.

Arrival of the Gang:

After a delay of around 5 hours here was the gang at the hotel at midnight and this was the historic time when the Taj witnessed their ultimate clients. Starring Cow Pandey, Rish Janu, Loru Bihari to me all were ready, fully charged and energized to make the upcoming 14-15 days a real honeymoon period. We all rested since it was the night and waited till the next day.

Dinner Time:

Having spent a hostel life for around full four years, people usually aren’t used to to see big bills on their tables. Well but here even the breakfast cost was around 350 bucks. Rish janu confirmed the reimbursement thing twice before ordering anything on the menu :P. On the dinner order which we all 7 had together, although with a bit of time difference but in the same room the discussion was like:

Rish Janu: Abe bahuuut maja aayegi yaar, chal kuch khane ko order karte hain.

Loru(Laughing): Kyon be bhauji, jara pata to kar le khana free hai ki nahi. Agar nahi hai to Janu ke account mein hi likhwa denge.

Janu: Ajeeb bak**** ho, apna khana hai apne mein hi likhwao.

Ramu: Abe pata to kiya tha tumne subeh fir kyon dar rahe ho.

Tangri and Bhauchakka were quite while cow was eating grass and bhauji was mastiyaing with abeyyyyyy kutteeeeeeeeeeeee style of her and Nandu wasn’t there with us to enjoy the night since he was given accommodation at Taj Banjara, other branch of Taj.

Cow: Abe sale kya order karein kya na karein kuch samajh nahi aa raha hai, ekto dish ka naam hi nahi bol pa rahe hain aur upar se Taj mein bachchiya (calf) bhi nahi hai hum kiske saath khelenge :((.

Tangri: Chup Sali cow, yaha bhi cow cow shuru ho gayi

Tangri dragged Cow away in masti and Cow said “Naiiiiiiii hahahaha”

Bhauchakka was enjoying the stuff too but was looking as confused as always and said “Ab ye sab bakwaas band bhi karo, 9 baj gaye hain dhang se order karo”.

Bhauji: hahahahahahahahaha Dekho dhang se order karne ko keh raha hai, hahahahahahahahahaha, dhang se hahahahahahaha.

Ramu: Abe dhang se order kara to bill bhi dhang ka hi aaega hahahahahaha.

Bhauji: hahahahahahahahahahaha

Ramu: hahahahahahahahahahahha

Only God can understand what Ramu and Bhauji were talking that had so much fun in it but somehow everyone atleast gave a smile or a lil laugh too :D. Finally all this baks session was over and the people actually started thinking over the menu to give dinner order.

Janu: Chalo sare ek ek soup order karte hain, bahuuut maja aaegi

Bhauji: Abe ise to majaa hi aati rehti hai hahahahahahahahhaha, majaa hi aati rehti hai hahahahahahahaha… abe sale maja aata hai aati nahi hahahahahahahahaha

Ramu: hahahahahahahaha Pehle majaa aaegi fir jaegi aur aati jaati rahegi hahahahahahahaha

Bhauji: hahahahahahahahahahaha

Ramu: hahahahahahahahahahaha

Inka to chalta hi rehta hai, meanwhile people finalized the thing and picked up the receiver of the phone to order to room service the dinner.

Tangri: oye itna saara khana order karna hai… bill kiske account mein dein ?

Bhauchakka: Kisike mein bhi dedo, koi problem thode hi hai.

Loru: abe to tere mein hi kar dete hain be.

Bhauchakka: (in a bit defensive but fine manner) Theek hai yaar… kar do kisi mein bhi, mere mein hi kar do, kya problem hai yaar?

Bhauji: (speaking something worthwhile this time) Abe barabar barabar bhantwa do sabhi ke account mein yaar, ismein sochna kya hai ?

Finally the order was given which was like: 7 soup (m not gonna tell you individual soups man :P), 2 daal tadka, 2 daal fry, 1 gobi adraki, 1 mix veg, brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr and a whole long list, 3 ras malai, 2 pineapple juice, 1 vanilla ice-cream, 1 choc ice-cream, 3 rasgulle and haan I forgot 2 Green Salad… that’s it :).

The order went so big considering the fact that it was being ordered for 7 people that it was actually impossible for anyone of us ordering it fully in one go without laughing partly because others were making faces and partly because the gal who was noting down the order was smiling herself (you could easily sense that on phone :D). So actually the order was given by three of us hehe.

Well just after giving order and having faced that scenario out there on phone something happened to cow and he started jumping, laughing and moving here and there in the room. We actually thought that something happened to him but it was actually the hahahahahahahahahaha of Bhauji and Ramu that we came to know the state of cow’s mind :D. Dinner arrived, 2 of the Taj’s staff with 2 big tables came to the room and asked the position where should they keep that lofty material better known as food in the room. Bhauchakka guided them to the place while cow was sitting in the extreme end of room having fingers on his lips and trying hard not to laugh. Some people even suggested having a picture of the bill that they brought with them but it actually never happened for obvious reasons. Taj people have given a very good training to their staff not to laugh or even smile in front of their customers… had I been there I would have surely laughed watching the scenario of the room. Anyways the story continued and we had the most amazing dinner with the usual baks session going on as usual and afterwards asked someone for clearance.

On The Way To Company For The First Time:

Well after having such a hefty dinner we all slept for around 10-11 hours and woke up the next day to go to our company for the first time (although it wasn’t first time for some of us but it was for me at least) . The cab came to receive us and all of us 7 people sat in just one Innova.

The journey to company was also very nice as we all know that the place where all these seven awesomely gifted player sit can’t be just quite.

Tangri: (to cab driver) Bhaiya company kitne time mein pahunchenge ?

Driver: 40-45 min mein pahunch jaenge sahab.

Janu: Abe itne time mein to chat jaenge be.

Ramu: Tumhein to chatne mein bhi maja aaega Jaaanuuuuuuuuu.

Janu: Bak**** mat karo yaar… kuch tameej seekh lo.

Bhochakka: Ye ka bekoofi hai. Haha

Then suddenly don’t know what happened and Loru said something…

Loru: Kya yaha ghore dhuruk dhuruk karte hain ?

Ramu: Kya :O ? Abe kya subeh subeh chadha rakhi hai ?

Bhauji: Ghore dhuruk dhuruk karte hain hahahahahahahahaha… abe yaha bhi ghoro se dhuruk dhuruk karwa raha hai hahahahahahahahaha

Ramu: Nahi be… yaha ghore tuduk turuk karte hain hahahahahahahahahaha

Bhauji: hahahahahahahahahaha

Ramu: hahahahahahahahahahaha

And everyone else laughed in unison. Well ye to sab chalta raha and here came the company. Infosys center is just in front of our campus and ISB Hyderabad is also beside Microsoft Campus and hence the place is very wide and open and less populated.

We left the cab and entered the gate, fulfilled the formality procedure and went into the building where the New Hire Orientation program was going to be conducted in a short while. New Employee Orientation program (NEO) is altogether a different story in itself which I think I will be covering later on if I get some time. We had both formal and informal sessions as the part of NEO in which some of us were kinda forced to enter Girls Washroom :D… anyways lets not discuss it now.

Golconda Fort Visit:

Well its honeymoon period going on buddy, why don’t we plan a visit out to some place? Having this thought in mind we planned to visit Golconda Fort which is not so far away that we have to wake up early in the morning and is not that nearby where we can go at any time (planned visit, isn’t it? :) ). We picked up the phone and booked a cab to come and pick us up from Taj Recidency. For some reasons we had to divide our self in two groups and I went with Loru, Bhochakka & Cow Pandey.

To be very frank we just planned that visit coz it was a free visit for us and atleast I didn’t even bother to ask anyone what exactly this Golconda Fort all about and even didn’t care to analyze the name fort with it :). It was only when we reached there I came to know about it. Well the cab took a bit more time then it was supposed to come to pick us up. Traveling agency people and I had a little bit of communication gap and they wrote my room number as 101 which was Bhauji’s room. So cab was actually waiting for us to come down and we were waiting for it to come and pick us up. After two frustrated hours of waiting and waiting we called the agency people to send a car to us immediately (I sincerely don’t know what happened to the cab guy waiting for us downstairs :) although I clarified with agency about the trouble with my room number later).

Since this was kind of emergency situation, they sent skoda Octavia for us. Gosh man I just love this emergency service ;). Well then after we went there and had a lot of masti which I think you can very well see in the pics here with :d.

Likewise we enjoyed our honeymoon period a lot and actually moved to many places in Hyderabad and had similar kind of masti there too.

Honeymoon Period Over:

Well since the honeymoon period was just for 15 days so it had to get over and its finally over now. Bole to ab hum apni aukat mein aa gaye hain :P… subeh auto se company jaate hain and shaam ko company cab drop karti hai :D. Now there is no room service and no big hefty breakfast, lunch or dinner order. No nice facility and no personal cab to take us anywhere we want. I’ll definitely miss Taj’s laundry service where my laundry bill for 15 days was around 4400 bucks (:O? :d).

We have searched a house (a Duplex) where me, Cow, Loru, Ramu and Bhochakka are living together whose pics I am attaching here with. We have to arrange everything from kitchen utensils to gas cylinder ourself and hence I think I can say we are getting bumps and kicks of life. We are in the Corporate World finally :).

New Life Begins:

Although the time that has passed till now has given us wonderful moments in which we started our post-campus so-called ‘Corporate Life’ and met many faces but one thing that always pinches us all and specially me is that our college life, our hostel life, the life with you all CSE people out there at campus has finally come to an end :(. Tum log Bahut yaad aate ho yaar… hope I meet you ALL again and hope we may have a reunion of our batch soon.

ab hum char - main , tau, jindal aur mamu reh gaye hain jo morgan join karenge..doc bhi kat liya..mama aur jindal 3 ko , main 4 ko aur tau 6 ko pahunch rahe hain mumbai...baki main, mama aur tau to ghar par hi time pass kar rahe hain..jindal ka kuch pata..nahin..kya kar raha hai..
tum sabki mails padh kar ..achaa lagta hai..seems like everybody is njoing...
ab hum jab join kar lenge..tab apna haal sunayenge..
